半径と直径
は、radiusとdiameterですが、数学では縁の面積を「πr2」と表しますね。diameterの「D」は数学では出てきこないと思いますが、バイオ医薬品の精製に使用するカラム、分析用カラムのサイズを表す時に直径「D」は使用します。
